Financial Records Management Training
We've been teaching Australian professionals how to manage financial records since 2019. Our approach focuses on real-world scenarios you'll actually encounter, not abstract theory. Starting September 2025, we're offering structured training that covers everything from basic bookkeeping principles to advanced reporting techniques.
Enquire About TrainingWhat You'll Actually Learn
Our curriculum adapts to where you're starting from. Some participants come with accounting backgrounds, others are complete beginners. We meet you where you are.
Foundation Phase (Weeks 1-8)
You'll learn the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts setup, and transaction recording. We use actual case studies from Adelaide businesses—retail shops, service providers, small manufacturers. Nothing theoretical here. By week four, you're working with real financial data sets.
Practical Application (Weeks 9-16)
This is where it gets interesting. You'll process month-end closures, reconcile bank statements, handle GST reporting, and prepare BAS submissions. We simulate deadline pressure because that's what you'll face in actual practice. Past participants mention this phase as the most demanding but also most valuable.
Advanced Techniques (Weeks 17-24)
Financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting processes, and audit preparation. You'll work with software platforms commonly used in Australian businesses—Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks. We provide access to all of them during training so you can find what suits your workflow.
Professional Standards (Weeks 25-30)
Compliance requirements, documentation standards, ethical considerations, and communication with stakeholders. This covers Australian regulatory frameworks and how to maintain records that satisfy auditors and tax officials. Equally important: how to explain financial information to people who aren't accountants.

Who's Teaching This
Theodora Mallick leads our training program. She's managed financial records for manufacturing companies, non-profits, and consulting firms over the past fifteen years. Before that, she worked at mid-sized accounting practices around Adelaide.
Theodora doesn't come from an academic background. She learned bookkeeping through apprenticeship and professional certificates, which shapes how she teaches. Her sessions tend to be hands-on—less lecture, more working through problems together.
